Funeral services for Imogene Ruth Collins, 86, Marionville, MO, and formerly of West Plains, were Monday, July 12, 2010, in the Rose Chapel, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Collins died at 3:25 a.m., Thursday, July 8, 2010, in the Ozark Methodist Manor, Marionville, MO. She was born Jan. 3, 1924, at Peace Valley, MO, to Oliver Blaine (O.B.) and Winnie Dunkin Jennings. She received her education in the schools of West Plains, MO, graduating from the West Plains High School with the Class of 1942. On March 3, 1948, she was married at San Diego, CA, to Carson William Collins, who preceded her in death on Aug. 23, 1988. Mrs. Collins worked as a telephone operator in West Plains and El Paso, Texas; also, she worked at the Boeing Aircraft plant in Seattle, Wash., during World War II. She was a member of the First Church of God, West Plains and Women of the Church of God.

She is survived by five children, William C. Collins, wife, Janice L. Hoaglin, Springfield, MO, Janis Elaine Phillips, husband, Melvin, Aurora, MO; Joanna Finzel, husband, Alan, West Plains, Rita Beth Gibson, husband, Marty, Clarkson, KY, and Norman Brice Collins, companion, Tonya, Lebanon, MO; nine grandchildren; one sister, Elaine Worsham, Los Angeles, CA; sister-in-law, Helen Collins, West Plains; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband; infant daughter, Burline; and one brother, John Jennings, precede her in death.

Burial was at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Three Rivers Hospice and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
