Succumbs In Chair At Home Of Neighbor
Mrs. Charles Galbraith, long a prominent resident of Remington, died suddenly at five o'clock Tuesday evening as she sat in a chair at the home of a neighbor.
A heart attack which came without warning ended the life of the estimable lady as she was talking with the lady whom she was paying a social call.
A physican who was hastily summoned found that life was already extinct and pronounced death due to heart failure.
Mrs. Galbaith's death followed the death of her husband by less than a month.
She was in her usual health Tuesday and late in the afternoon went to the home of a neighbor for a brief call. She was sticken shortly after her arrival.
Surviving are a sister and three brothers.
Mrs. Galbraith had been a resident of Remington and vicinity for many years. She was a native of the state of Illinois. She had no children.
The funeral services will be conducted from the Presbyterian church of Remington, with the Rev. Henry in charge, at two o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be made at Remington cemetery beside the grave of her husband.
