James L. Blevins, 75, died Wednesday in a Marion hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Flossie Blevins; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald L. Lloyd and Mrs. Cecil J. Furman, both of Alexandria, and Mrs. David Goble, Marion; six sons, Lavern Blevins, Marion, Delmer Blevins, Fredricksburg, Luther Blevins, Sugar Grove, James Blevins, Seven Mile Ford, Lawrence Blevins, Seven Valleys, Pa., and Kermit Blevins, Alexandria; one sister, Mrs. Maude Blevins, Abingdon; 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Barnett's Funeral Chapel with the Rev. A. F. Miller officiating. Burial was in Slemp Cemetery.
