Wiley Starling Harriman, 103, of St. Paul, died on Oct. 8, 2010, at his home. He was born on Dec. 5, 1906, at Japton, the son of John and Mary (Spurlock) Harriman. He was a retired grocery store owner and Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Eva (Hawkins) Harriman on Feb. 7, 1995, one son, Jasper Harriman and his parents.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Myrick Harvey of Combs; four grandsons, 10 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Oct. 12 at the Saint Paul Full Gospel Church with Jasper Hankins, Minister officiating. Interment was held in the Ledbetter Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home at Huntsville. Pallbearers were Rick Harriman, Danny Kimball, Lonnie Kimball, James Kimball, Austin Kimball and Gary Harvey. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Whitaker, Leroy Mayes, Gene Ogden, Brandon Harp, Jack Morgan, Jason Harriman and Ronnie Springston.

Wiley Starling Harriman, 103, of St. Paul, died on Oct. 8, 2010, at his home. He was born on Dec. 5, 1906, at Japton, the son of John and Mary (Spurlock) Harriman.
