She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Lawrence Lemon and Pearl Lemon Buckley. She had last worked at the West Virginia Masonic Home. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 151 and the Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a member of the Democratic Women's Club and Broadway Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler and loved working in her flowers.
Surviving are one daughter, Mary Ann Smith of Washington; one brother, E. Paul Lemon of Ravenswood; and three grandchildren, Melissa Kai Smith of Washington, Rory Kent Smith of Parkersburg and Adam Kraig Smith of Marietta.
Services 2 p.m. Sunday, Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, the Rev. Bill Snider officiating. Burial Mount Olivet Cemetery.
