Mrs. Nancy Williams, a retired nurse who had made her home in Wellington for 10 years died in St. Joseph's Hospital Tuesday, February 22, at the age of 84. She had been living in Thomas Nursing Home.

Before coming here, she made her home at Clarendon.

Born at Blakesburg, Indiana, June 5, 1887, she was the former Nancy Cornwell. Mrs. Williams was active in First Christian Church for a number of years.

Funeral services were conducted at Kelso Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, with Marvin Garrison, minister, officiating. Burial was in North Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Kelso Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Bill Anders, Raymond Neeley, John Carson, Emil Kersten, Jack Sanford and Charles Darter.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Albert Abbott of Torreon Jardin, Coah., Mexico, and Mrs. Margeret Kambitsch of Rodeo, New Mexico; two sons, Earl Williams of Rodeo, New Mexico and Charles Williams of Lutherville, Maryland; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Balding of Kissimee, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
