Eddie B. Jones, 63, died Saturday morning, July 2, in Veterans Administration Hospital in Amarillo. Mr. Jones was born March 4, 1922, in Richland, the son of Eddie Jones and Matilda Carroll Jones. He was a retired production worker, a veteran of U.S. Navy in World War II, and a member of the Church of Christ. He married Ella Mae Dawkins Dec. 20, 1941, in Wellington.
Survivor are his wife, Ella Mae Jones of WEllington; two daughters, Eddied Marie Meadows and Ester Mae Allen both of Houston, four sons, T.J. Jones and Ricky Carl Jones both of Amarillo, Bowdon Jones of Colorado, and Harold Ray Jones of Wellington; 20 grandchildren.
