Betty Lee Battle born February 4, 1934 in Morton, WA, died October 3, 2010.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years John Franklin Battle, son Johnny L. (Pam) Battle, daughters Mary (John) Jacobs and Karen Yanasak, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Glen Core, John Core, Tom Core, Dick Core and sister Sue Marine, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Susie Core, and brother Jay Core.
Anyone who met Betty could instantly feel her warmth and caring ways. If you stopped by her house she was always ready to feed you and play a game of cards. She was very talented artistically and loved to make things to give to her family and friends. She also loved writing poetry, gardening, camping and anything to do with the outdoors.
She is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
