Leslie E. Bell, Pendleton, died Sunday afternoon at St. Anthony Hospital. He was 73.

Mr. Bell was born at La Grande.

He was married to May E. Martin feb. 16, 1926, at Enterprise. He worked in the lumber industry in Wallowa, Ponderosa and Kinzua. He retired in 1967 and lived at Union until Nov. 1, 1975 when he moved to Pendleton.

Survivors include the widow; son, Elvyn E., Heppner; daughter, Florence M. Bell, Pendleton; brother, Willard J., Fossil; sisters, Etta Wetzel, Portland and Jessie J. Carlton, Eugene; and grandsons, Kevin and Kent Bell.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Burns Mortuary. Interment will be in Olney Cemetery.
