He was a gifted mechanic and could repair or make anything with engines or moving parts. After working at Reynolds Farm Equipment and Builders Concrete, he started his own business, Peterson's Garage, in 1981, which he continued to own until his death. Kevin graduated from Hamiliton Southeastern High School in 1969. He was a 33 year member of Hamilton Masonic Lodge #533, served as Worshipful Master in 2004 and continued to be active in Freemasonry until his death. He was an honoraary member of Mystic Circle lodge # 685 and Keystone lodge # 251, a member of Fishers United Methodist Church.
Survived by his wife of 32 years, his mother Roma peterson; sons Tony and wife Monica and Tim Lawson; daughter, Pat Schaefer and husband Ken; grandsons, Christopher Peterson and Johnathan Persinger; a brother Micheal and wife Paula; and nephews, Mark and Nicholas Peterson.
His father, Morris preceded him in death.
