Charles Perry Moorhouse, youngest son of J. F. and Mary Moorhouse was born July 19, 1899 in Warren county, Iowa and died at Indianola, Iowa, February 1, 1966, aged 65 years, 6 months and 12 days. He was married to Hazel Bradford at Indianola, Iowa, May 25, 1921 and divorced in 1934. Mr. Moorhouse spent the majority of his life around Warren county, Iowa with the exception of a few years on Mena, Arkansas where he took care of an aged uncle. He leaves to mourn his loss one brother, Roy W. of Indianola, Iowa numerous nephews, nieces and friends, Two brothers Lorin H. and Eli A. having preceded him in death.
Funeral services were conducted by Dr. Carleton Briggs at the Petersen Funeral Home in Indianola, Iowa. Song services by Mrs. Robert Conner and Mrs. Craig Vanderpool. Selection "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere". Interments was in IOOF cemetery at Indianola, Iowa. Pall bearers were Ralph Wpd, Henry Godlove, Frank Trotter and Clare Wiley.
