The inscription reads:

Devoted Husband of Kathleen and Darling Daddy of Patricia Margaret
Killed on Active Service Nov 13th 1939
Aged 40 years
A Loving Heart so Good and Kind, A Beautiful Memory Left Behind.

(it could say Patricia AND Margaret. The writing was not too clear here. Also I am afraid the sun was causing a shadow to fall on the writing from the neighbouring headstone)

Grave of Roy Tyrer Church in the centre.

Ford Park Cemetery is lovely. It is very quiet and peaceful with lots of wildlife. Whilst I was photographing this grave for his grandaughter we were watching a hare having a rest on a nearby grave.The cemetery is managed by a Trust and the staff I spoke to obviously care passionately about it. A unique place.
