Franz August Okeson of Eagle Lake township died at Lake Region hospital Sunday at 5:30 p.m. He was admitted to the hospital Friday afternoon.

Mr. Okeson was born in Eagle Lake Dec. 16, 1881, and lived all his life on the same farm. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Okeson.

He was married to Tillie Rosenquist in Fergus Falls June 16, 1914. Mr. Okeson was an active member of the Eagle Lake Lutheran church as long as his health permitted.

Surviving are his wife, two sons, Ferris of Durbin, N.D., and Donald of Battle Lake, two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Eunice) Lillevold of Fergus Falls and Mrs. Herman (Pearl) Goosen of Crookston, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Eagle Lake Lutheran Church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Hawkinson officiating. Friends may call at the Glende-Johnson Funeral Home.
