"Mrs. Kristie Hall passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A.E. Satre, Le Roy, Minn. at 2:30 A.M. May 18th, at the age of sixty-nine, after a lingering illness of nine years. with rheumatism. The last five years she was confined to her bed.
Mrs. Kristie Asleson Hall was born May 17, 1861 in Norway. At the age of twelve she came to this country with her parents. Until the time of her marriage, she lived on a farm near Pilot Mound. One July 22, 1882 she was united in marriage to John Hall, and settled on a farm 6 1/2 miles northeast of Fountain, Minn, and lived there until eight years ago when she was compelled to give up house keeping, due to illness.
To this union seven children were born: Mrs. A.E. Satre, Le Roy, Minn.; Alfred of Alamo, N. Dak.; Henry and Melvin of Fountain, Minn.; Mrs. Thomas Ask, Lanesboro, Minn.; Mrs. A.M. Schultz of Wykoff, Minn.; and Justin who passed away at the age of 14. Her husband preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Satre."
