A funeral service for Bernard J. Braun, 82, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1st at St. Stephan Catholic Church.
Visitation will take place from 3 to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct 31, at G. l. Hills Funeral Home in Des Plaines. Internment will be at All Saints Cemetery
Mr Braun was born Sept. 26,1926 in Chicago. He was an Air Force veteran, member of the Showmen's League of America and resident of Des Plaines since 1950. He passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 at Lutheran General Hospital of Park Ridge.
Mr. Braun is Survived by his wife Eleanor C., children Bernard P., Richard A. (Linda R.), Dr. James R. (Carol A.), Rosemary D. (Carl "Butch" Schnulle, Gary P. (Valerie K.) and Robert T. (Julie), his 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Catherine (late Steven) Seplak and sister-in-law Rose Mary (Dennis) Gabel.
He is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
