Willard White of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to David (Dave) M. and Isie Dora Mae (Ivy) White on August 10, 1919 in Elmore City, Oklahoma and passed from this life on October 4, 2010 at his home at the age of 91 years.

Willard grew up and attended school at Fairview and McCarty. On March 6, 1944, he married Vera Driskell in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. Mr. White has been a lifetime resident of Elmore City and Garvin County. He worked for twenty years for Garvin County District 2 and retired as a bridge foreman. He also farmed and ranched most of his life. Mr. White was a member of Beaty Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed raising chickens and riding horses. He loved visiting with his friends and church was an important part of his life.

Mr. White is survived by: His wife: Vera White of the home; 1 son: Timmy (Tim) White and his wife Bobbi of Abilene, Texas; 4 daughters: Dena Dixon and her husband Cletues of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, Ruby Gordon of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, Carle Golden and her husband Ed of Durant, Oklahoma, Joyce Robbins and her husband Clois of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; 1 daughter-in-law: Sherry White of Wynnewood, Oklahoma; 1 brother: Ralph White of Elmore City, Oklahoma; 1 sister: Ruby Roberts of Lubbock, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mr. White was preceded in death by: 2 sons: Thomas "Bud" White and Willard White, Jr.; Parents: David (Dave)and Isie White; 2 brothers: Mib and Herbert White; 2 sisters: Doris Nell White and Dollie Tirey.
