8 Dec 1896: William G. Hartman, aged 40 years, died at early hours this morning at his house, 408 North Tenth Street, of typhoid pneumonia, after an illness of six weeks. He was a cabinet maker and was employed by D. A. Frantz. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Father Kuhlman council and St. Patrick's beneficial society. He was of a genial disposition and had a large circle of friends. A wife, several children, his father and a number of brothers and sisters survive him. [Lebanon Daily News]
