Services were Tuesday, May 10, in Montgomery-Viets Chapel. Recorded music selections played were "Amazing Grace" and "In the Garden,". Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
Dorothy Mae Acreback, 74, was born Jan. 3, 1931, in Dallas County, the second of four children of the late Raymond and Lala (Austin) Medcalf. She was saved and baptized at Assembly of God Church in 1952. She was united in marriage with Robert Eugene Moore on June 28, 1948, and to this union her daughter Carol was born. After the dissolution of their marriage, she married James Emile Acreback on Jan. 5, 1954, and to this union her son Gus was born.
She was a devoted employee of Gasket Engineering of Kansas City for 46 years, where she was a machine operator. Her love in life was her family, friends and neighbors. She also loved gardening and all her flowers. She was the rock for her family, always there for them and never asked for anything in return.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; and her brother, Clifford Medcalf.
