Patricia, 64, of East Lansing passed away Sunday. She was a 1963 graduate of Elmira Free Academy, Elmira, NY and of Syracuse University in 1967. She met the love of her life, Roger in 1968 and married him in 1969. She worked as a teacher with the Peace Corps in Chile from 1969-1970. Patricia resided in Syracuse, NY, Albany, NY, and Columbus, GA before moving to East Lansing, MI in 1974. She was an artist and worked with the Red Cedar School Parent Council for many years.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Arland and Florence Edwards, and her brother, John Edwards.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; the two beautiful children she raised, Amanda and Eric Hamlin; her brothers, Robert (Karen) Edwards, and William Edwards; sister, Arlene Edwards; and four nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Lung Cancer Partnership, in memory of Patricia.
