Donna Jean Weymouth Idaho Falls, Idaho, Mrs. Donna Jean Weymouth, 63, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, formerly of Marysville, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 as a result of a boating accident. She was born August 13, 1947 in St. Clair to the late Chester and Helen Wisniewski. She married Jay Weymouth on August 12, 1967 in Columbus Township. Donna was employed with Citizens First for 20 years, retiring as assistant vice president. She was enjoying a day boating with her husband and grandchild when the accident occurred. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the boat they were in collided with a canyon wall, causing Donna to suffer from a severe closed head injury. After multiple surgeries and 43 days of ICU care, Donna was no longer able to continue the fight and she began her angelic journey on August 25. Donna was more than just a bubbly personality who could cheer you up, she had a special twinkle in her eye that made her different than anyone else. Her children and grandchildren were her life and they never knew a day where they did not feel her tenderness or love. In fact, that was the very reason Donna and Jay moved from their hometown of Marysville to Idaho Falls; they wanted to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Donna had genuine concern and love for her family and friends, which deepens the loss we will all have to endure. It is comforting to know that we no longer have to call or see her in person to share a story, a laugh, or some good gossipshe will be with us all in the moment. May she continue to watch over us all as she did here on Earth and as she will continue to do in heaven. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jay; a son, Bruk (Penny) Weymouth of Great Falls, Montana; a daughter, Taylor (Brian) Hanton of Park City, Utah; four grandchildren, Fox and Quincy Weymouth and Cooper and Abby Hanton; three sisters, Marie (Leo) Westrick, Geraldine Wolf and Sharon (Lorne) McGregor; a brother, Chester (Christine) Wisniewski; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Charles Wolf. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2010 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2 p.m. Father Joseph Gagnon will officiate.
