Born Feb. 16, 1920, in Greenwood, to Fred and Nora (Wilken) Bauers. United States Army and World War II veteran. Former bartender at The Lodge Tavern; former employee Lincoln Regional Center. Member of the V.F.W. and American Legion.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Allen Evers of Lincoln; son, Ronald Bauers of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Duane Bauers of Hooper, and Kay Bauers of Washington. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Marjorie; two sisters; three brothers.
