She was a longtime member of Lochwood Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Morton; parents, Arthur Bouchillon and Lessie Beam; grandson, Walter Wayne; son-in-law, Ray Spanhel. She is survived by her children, Sharon Morton Spanhel, Phillip R. Morton, Deborah Morton Copelin, Mellonee Morton Ramsey; sister, Martha Bouchillon Adkins; grandchildren, Heather Davis, Jennifer Cunningham, Misty Lapetina, Amy Morton, Audrey Morton, Bonnie Ramsey, Sarah Ramsey, Thomas Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Chad Copelin, Chase Copelin, Sheldrick Davis, Chandler Davis, Amelia LaPetina and Ainsley LaPetina. Family will receive friends, Friday October 15, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Restland Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideon's International.
