Lloyd J. Buum, 67, Beresford, died Sunday (April 30, 1978), at a Centerville nursing home after a lengthly illness.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Roseni Lutheran church. The Rev. Ralph Christopherson officiated. Burial was in the Nora cemetery near Beresford under the direction of the Wass funeral home.
Mr. Buum was born July 1, 1910, in Union county. He married Antoinette Swanson May 4, 1931, in Alcester and they farmed in Union county until retirement.
He lived at the nursing home since January 1971.
Survivors include his widow; two sons, Wayne of Akron and Alvern of Beresford; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Julius of Centerville and Joe of Huron, and a sister Mrs. Rose Jamtgaard of Alcester.
