Claude Kenneth "Kenny" Cherry, II, 49 of 118 Robinson Clemmer Road died Saturday, October 9, 2010 in Lincolnton.

He was a native of Gaston County, born February 10, 1961 to the late Claude Kenneth and Rebecca Stowe Cherry.

He was a loving Father, Grandfather, and Brother.
Kenny was owner of Denver Tree Service and a member of Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Jessica Cherry and fiancé Michael Boyter of Dallas, Jennifer Cherry and fiancé Nick Dettman of Pineville; one grandson, Eli Slagle; four granddaughters: Ivy Slagle, Issabelle Slagle, Alexis Smith and Austin Freeman; two sisters, Cynthia Byers and husband Ed of Belmont, Donna Hall and husband Ronnie of Denver; loving nephew, Todd Davis and a loving niece Candace Hall.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Janice Quinn officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, Garden of Honor section with the Releasing of the Doves.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home for Kenny's funeral expenses.
