CAUCHON, Paul A. 82, retired teacher and Marine Corps Reserve Colonel, passed away peacefully after a long and often arduous battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Jean Hennessey Cauchon, and is survived by sons, Paul R, Stephen M, and Alexander M; daughter, Christine Cauchon Summer, and seven grandchildren. Friends will be received at Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Ave, on Sunday, Oct. 17th, 2010, from 2-4 pm. Funeral Mass will be Monday, Oct. 18th at 11 am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church on Snell Isle in St. Petersburg. Burial with Military Honors will be Tuesday Oct. 19th, at Bay Pines National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center, USF Foundation, 5 Tampa General Circle, Suite 410, Tampa, FL 33606 or Pesticide Action Network.
