ORONO, March 16 - Mrs Bula Hodgdon, 81, of Levant, died Monday after a long illness, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pauline Brown in Orono. She was born in Levant, the daughter of Reid and Jane (Smith) Leach and was a life-long reident of that town. She was a member of Minerva Grange in Levant. Mrs. Hodgdon is survived by five sons, Rondald of Exeter, Ceil and Leon of Orono, Homer of Hermon, Thayne of Auburn; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Sutton or Augusta, Mrs. Ralph Redmond and Mrs. Pauline Brown of Orono; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Harvey's funeral home in Carmel Wednesday at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Theodore Perkins pastor of teh Levant Baptist church officiating. The remains will be placed in teh Highland cemetery tomb in Carmel for spring burial in the Waugh cemetery in Levant. Friends are asked please to omit flowers.
