Mary Rose Vinciguerra (nee Baldwin), 87, formerly of Libertyville, IL, Asheville, NC, and Jupiter, FL died Wednesday, December 19 at her home in Sun Lakes, AZ. Mary was born August 29, 1920 in Langdon, ND and married Peter L. Vinciguerra, MD in 1948 in Chicago.
Survived by her husband, Dr. Peter; her children, Peter C. Vinciguerra of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Ann Calo of Manlios, NY, Mark Vinciguerra of Scottsdale, AZ, Paul Vinciguerra of Sacramento, CA and David Vinciguerra of Winterville, NC. She was the proud grandmother of 11.
Mary was a graduate of Cook County Hospital School of Nursing, Chicago. In the early 1950's she and her husband moved to Libertyville where he practiced medicine. Mary was active in the Workers Auxiliary of the Lake County Medical Society and the Lake County Division of the American Cancer Society. Mary was also a former member of St. Joseph Parish, Libertyville and was active in the Guild of The Blessed Virgin Mary.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 AM Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the funeral home to St. Joseph Church, 121 East Maple Ave., Libertyville for Mass at 12 Noon. Interment Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be Friday, January 4 from 3-6 PM at the funeral chapel. If desired, memorials made to The Hospice of The Valley, Arizona Dobson Home, 1188 North Dobson Road, Chandler, AZ would be greatly appreciated.
