MARYBELLE JENSEN our beloved Mother, devoted Grandmother and dedicated Great Grandmother of Coaldale, AB, passed away peacefully at Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the age of 79 years.
Marybelle was pre-deceased by her loving husband Lloyd Ivan Jensen and her parents Charles and Marjorie Owens, her brother Russell "Rusty" Owens and sister-in-law Lorna Owens and her brother-in-law Robert (Boots) Conner.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Dixie (Darrel) Navratil of DeWinton, Russ Jensen of Calgary, Mark (Ida) Jensen of Calgary, Rod (Cheryl) Jensen of Calgary, Sharley Jensen of Edmonton; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; her sister Cathern Conners of DeWinton and sister-in-law Orlene Kerner of Lethbridge along with numerous Nieces and Nephews and friends.
Marybelle lived a very fulfilled life travelling worldwide and dedicated herself to being a loving wife and mother. She was a caring 'mother' to many others who came to know her and appreciated her guidance and acceptance in their lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2009 (this will be the only viewing) at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, 2216-21A Ave., Coaldale.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 16 at 1:00 p.m. at the same Chapel, officiated by Bishop Gugyelka. Interment to follow in Taber Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of lowers, those who wish may donate to The Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 4J8.
