Ruth D. Ross, 95, of Springfield died at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born Jan. 24, 1898, in Latham, the daughter of Richard and Lucy Jane Shyer Martin. She married Aubrey Ross in 1917; he died in 1967. Also preceding her in death were a son, Howard in 1965; a grandson; and two sisters. Mrs. Ross was a member of First Christian Church. Surviving are a son, K. LeMoyne of Centralia; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Amelia Bogue of Ferguson, Mo.; several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tim Staker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
