Funeral services for Loren H. Schutz, 78, well known retired farmer of the Stewartsville-Griffin vicinity, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the P.C. Werry & Son funeral home chapel. Rev. R.J. Skelton, New Harmony Methodist minister, was in charge. Burial was in the Stewartsville cemetery. Mr. Schutz succumbed Monday afternoon at the Allison nursing home here. Surviving are six sons, Charles and Herman Schutz, of Griffin, John and Marion Schutz, of New Harmony, Norman Schutz, of Grayville, Ill., and Preston Schutz, of California; four daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Dye, of Ohio, Mrs. Mary Jordan, of Bedford, Mrs. Anna Shaw, of California, and Mrs. Eleda Miller, of Princeton; and three brothers, Charles Schutz, of Stewartsville, Enoch Schutz, of South Bend, and Louis Schtuz, of Princeton.
