Williams

Funeral for James R. Williams, 82, was held Nov. 16, at Earnheart Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bob Bryan, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Holiday and Rev. Pat Whittemore, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Tom Bean, officiating.

Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Williams, retired railroad employee and blacksmith, died Nov. 14 at a Sherman hospital.

He was born in Cannon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin E. Williams. He and the former Mildred Ruth Hopper were married Aug. 10, 1030 at Colbert, Okla. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tom Bean.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Florena Williams, Sherman, Margaret Hall, Fairfax, Va., Ruth Elaine Compton, Westlake, Calif. and four grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, Tom Bean
