Leesville - Manning Richard Taylor, 47, formerly of Leesville, died Monday in Burke County Hospital, Waynesboro, Ga. Mr. Taylor was a native of Lexington County, son of the late Reuben Taylor and Mattie T. Taylor, and had been in Georgia only a few years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Frich [Frick] Taylor of Waynesboro; one daughter, Miss DeLancy Taylor of Waynesboro; five sisters, Mrs. Jesse Adams, Mrs. Furman Cox and Mrs. Frank Richard of Leesville and Mrs. Robert Kyzer and Mrs. Frank Shealy of Lexington; two brothers, Lanier of Fairfield, Calif., and Burley Taylor of Gilbert, and his stepmother, Mrs. Jesse Taylor of Leesville. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the First Calvary Baptist Church, near Leesville conducted by the Rev. James A. Mills, the Rev. W. G. McCartney and the Rev. Robert L. Love. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will be at Hopper-DeLoach Funeral Home is Waynesboro until noon Wednesday, and will be taken to the church at 3 p.m. Active pallbearers will be J. W. Taylor, Vernon Gillian, Seth Black, David R. Taylor, Harold (Bill) Taylor and Garvin Taylor. © The State, Columbia, SC, 17 Jun 1964
