Barbara "Eileen" Buell was born on September 26, 1920 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Albert F. and Etta Sarah Elizabeth (Roberts) Allen. She died suddenly on Monday, October 11, 2010 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, NE. at the age of 90. Barbara, known as Eileen to many, graduated from Waverly High School, then worked in Lincoln for a short time. She was married to Harold Buell on January 12, 1939 in Marysville, KS, and they lived in the Ashland area ever since. To this union was born one son Raymond. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ashland. Barbara loved playing cards, playing the organ and had a strong work ethic.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harold and 2 sisters Coleen Farnsworth and Betty Mick. She is survived by her son Ray "Butch" Buell of Wayne, NE; 4 grandchildren and their spouses Kevin and Marian Kelly, Lincoln; Sandy and Dave Owens, Randolph, NE; Donna and Scott Andrew, Norfolk, NE; Robert and Liudmila Buell, Houston, TX; and 6 Great grandchildren.
