Mrs. Mary Ann Atkinson, 93, 325 W. Butler St., Mercer, died in Bashline Hospital, Grove City, PA. at 1:45 PM Sunday. She had been ill for 3 days.
Mrs. Atkinson was born in Wales, May 27,1866, a daughter of the late Jacob and Ann Jones Williams. She was married to James Atkinson in 1883. He preceded her in death in 1955.
Mrs. Atkinson was a member of the Methodist Church of Mercer.
Surviving are the following children, Mrs. Archie (Jennie) Brocklehurst, Jackson Center; Mrs. Fred (Leah) King, Butler; Mrs. Francis (Ada) McLaughlin, Grove City; Mrs. Anthony (Elizabeth) Jones, Volant R.D.2; Mrs. Gladys Habbyshaw, Mercer; Anthony Atkinson, Warren, PA.; Mrs Arthur (Minnie) Stone, Mercer; there are also 33 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, and 22 great-great -grandchildren.
Three daughters, two sons, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Services will be from Cunningham Funeral Home, Leesburg, Wednesday at 2 p.m., in charge of Rev. Clair D. Walker, Mercer. Internment will be in the Leesburg Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Cunningham Funeral Home, Leesburg, tonight from 7to9 and Tuesday from 2to4 and 7to9 p.m.
