He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Optimist Club and Clear Creek Christian Church.
Suvivors included his wife, Martha (Clay) Jacobs; his mother, Mrs. Lula Jacobs; and two brothers, Harold and Marion. He also left several nieces and nephews.
