ANDERSON - Marylin J. (Barrett) Haston, 77, died Oct. 16, 2010, at Community Northview in Anderson, following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 4, 1933, in Elwood, the daughter of William and Mildred Barrett.
Marilyn was employed by Delco Remy for 26 years.
She was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School.
She enjoyed reading, collecting dolls and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bill S. Haston; four children, Patsy York of Anderson, Liz Miller of Gallatin, Tenn., Teresa (Mike) Eutsler of Anderson, and Billie Haston and Mike Minton of Anderson; six grandchildren, Mike (Kristie) Byrne, Wesley Gosnell and Lacey Caldwell, Mackenzie (Luke) Gustafson, Caleb Haston, Drew Miller and Wyatt York; three great-grandchildren, Haston, Liam and Madalynn; two sisters, Helen (Don) Rinker of Alexandria and Jane (Don) Carmer of Elwood; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Marylin was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mildred Barrett; and a brother, Jack Barrett.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, 229 S. Rangeline Road, Anderson, officiated by Pastor John Hannum. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
