Faye Evans Ash, age 98, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015, in Comanche, Texas.

She was born on October 1, 1916, in Hasse, Texas, to John Clifford and Bertha (Kerley) LaGrone. On November 3, 1934, she was united in marriage to Joseph Oral Evans in Comanche County, Texas. He preceded her in death in August, 1987. She married Joe Ash in Comanche County on January 28, 1989. He preceded her in death in 2003. Faye was a homemaker. She was devoted to her family and was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Randle Joe Evans of Hasse; grandson, Jason Evans and wife Tiffany of Knox City; granddaughter, Jodi Schuman and husband Luke of Comanche; three great-grandchildren: Maeley Evans, Addyson Evans, and Lani Schuman; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Nell Evans; parents, John Clifford and Bertha LaGrone; and brother, J.C. "Bo" LaGrone.

FUNERAL SERVICES: 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Board Church Cemetery in Comanche County.
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the funeral home.
LUNCH: Lunch was at the home of Billy Ray and Doylene Evans at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday.
