Clarence H. Campbell

Age 79. January 14, 2008. Clarence served his country as a WWII Veteran in the U.S. Navy with, career service in the U.S. Naval Reserve until 1989. He retired from the Veterans Administration with 35 years of civil service. He was a member of the Western Hills Church of Christ, where he severed as a Deacon. Clarence enjoyed gardening, travel and church work. Preceded in death by wife, Eula Ann Campbell, 1994, son, Nathan Clarence Campbell, 2001. Survived by daughters, Brenda C. Crews, Franklin; Anita C. (Steve) Thornton, Nashville; grandchildren, Heather C. Carmichael, Wesley S, Thorton, Natalie A. Sharpe, Adria L. Campbell, Jonathan R. Crews, Jesse E. Thornton and Sheryl K. Campbell: 7 great-grandchildren; sister Johnnie Hutcherson. The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at West Harpeth Funeral Home, with Bro. Frank Hollingsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin.
