Memorial service for Nancy Norman, 87, of Decatur will be Friday, July 10, 2009, at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Milt Glor officiating and the Rev. Ted Koelln assisting.
Her ashes will be interred in St. John's Garden following the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in St. John's Library.
Mrs. Norman, who died Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home, was born March 9, 1922, in Canton, Ohio, to Stephen A. and Valeta Severns Douglas.
She was a homemaker. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church where she served on the vestry. Her husband of 47 years, Charles "Chuck" Norman, preceded her in death.
