Donna Sue Britton, beloved wife, mother and sister, 59 of Rockville died at 11:40 am on Friday, May 5, 2006, with her family by her side.

She was born July 6, 1946, in Vermillion County, Indiana and was the daughter of Kenneth Russell Martin and Marguerite (Campbell) Martin.

On January 28, 1967, she was united in marriage to Leighton Marshall Britton, Jr. They were married for 39 years. Donna was loved by many and cherished her family and her many special friends. The Britton's have been owners of Britt Tool in Brazil, Indiana for 20 years. During her life, she worked for Columbia Records, the Rockville National Bank, as well as being a partner with her husband in the existing business.

Among her many loves included music, walking the beach on Sanibel, and spending time with her grandson.

Donna graduated from Rockville High School in 1964. She was a member of the Rockville First United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa Sorority and the Estabrook Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.

Survivors include her husband and three sons, Gregory Britton and his wife Angie of Navarre, Florida, Darin Britton and his wife Connie of Brazil, Indiana and Corey Britton of Rockville, Indiana; One grandson, Christopher Britton of Navarre, Florida; Two brothers, Doyne Martin and his wife Carolyn of Cape Coral, Florida and Darrell Martin and his wife Barbara of Rockville, Indiana; two sisters, Debra Schrader and her husband Gregg of Ft. Myers, Florida and Darla Rech and her husband Tim of Glenview, Illinois; one uncle, James Everett Martin of Crawfordsville, Indiana; her mother-in-law, Hazel Stewart of Kingman, Indiana; sister-in-law, Joyce Knutti and her husband Mike of Sullivan, Indiana; several nieces and nephews.

Services are 10:00 am Tuesday, May 9, in the chapel of Gooch Funeral Home, 112 Howard Street, Rockville, with the Rev. Brad Bumgardner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery north of Hollandsburg, Indiana.
