Retha was a housewife and a seamstress. She worked at the Garment Factory for many years in Granby.

She was a devout Christian and attended the Granby Gospel Tabernacle.

She loved music and often played the guitar or piano and sang at church.

She wrote many beautiful poems and enjoyed making Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.

Retha died at Wednesday 4:35 p.m. at the Granby House Nursing Home.
