Vera; 3 daughters, Melba Seidler of Golden Eagle, Illinois, (Living) Overby of White Hall, Illinois, and (Living) Meyer of Dow, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Cora Tepen of Jerseyville, Ella Klaas of Hardin, Illinois, and Cecelia Wolters of Aviston, Illinois.
In addition to his mother and father, Carl was preceded in death by 1 sister, Dorothy Klaas; and 2 brothers, Bill McGee and Albert McGee.
Visitation was held on 04 May 1993 at Gubser Funeral Home in Jerseyville. A rosary was recited there at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass was conducted at 10 a.m. the following morning at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Jerseyville.
The family requested that memorials, if desired, be made to Masses or to the Holy Ghost/St. Francis Catholic School in Jerseyville.
Carl's wife, Vera, passed away in 2010 and was buried next to him.
