Wilber Jackson Alsup, 76, died Wednesday in John Cochran Veterans Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Served as Pvt. in World War 11, in Italy, Sicily and North Africa. He was a son of Levi Jackson "Jack" Alsup and Edna Louisa (Beaury) Alsup. He married Mildred Knackstedt, 9 June 1956, and they later divorced. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Edith Juanita Alsup and Luella Ann Colbenson, and a brother Ernest Monroe Alsup. Survivors include his son Willord Jackson Alsup; three brothers, James Warren Alsup, Jesse Wayne Alsup and Richard Earl Alsup; three sisters, Mrs. Norma Poplin, Mrs. Margaret Vickery and Mrs. Eva Bowling.
