George J. Schwab of North Java died Wednesday morning, following an illness of four weeks, although he had been in failing health for the past several years. Mr. Schwab was born in Sheldon, March 2, 1857, son of John and Mary Habelwarth Schwab. About 50 years ago he was married to Miss Elizabeth Youngpeter. To this union one son, John E., was born. Other survivors are an adopted daughter, Mrs. Anna Perry of Buffalo, eleven grandchildren; a brother, Michael, of East Aurora; a sister, Mrs. Catherine Kibler, of Java Center. Funeral services were held in Saint Nicholas church on Saturday at 9:00 o'clock with burial in St. Nicholas cemetery.
