Son of David and Dolly Batchelor Baker. Married Mary Lucinda Stewart on 09 Oct 1849 in Madison Co., New York. They had two children: Carlton Stewart Baker, and Lillian Florence Baker Jennings. After Lillian died at age 32, they raised her daughter Mary Gertrude Jennings.
