Mrs. Silas E. Winscott, 22 years old died of tumor of the head, at the home of her father, S. J. Bowne, of 8 miles Northwest of town, Sunday. Funeral services were conducted at Appleman's Chapel, Monday afternoon, by Rev. H. E. Stout, after which the remains were laid to rest in the churchyard at that place.
She leaves a husband and two children and many friends and relatives to mourn her death, all of whom have the profound sympathy of the entire community.
