Especially interested in name of woman who gave birth to GAK's last two children, Obidiah and David. (He had four by his first wife.) There are various names floating around, but none convincing to me. Would very much like to correspond with others interested in this wing of the Koon family.

His Wife, Sarah Cromer Koon, is buried in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.

Their Children are:

#1> Richard H. Koon, who was killed August 04, 1862, in the Civil War at Chickamauga, Tennessee;
#2> John C. Koon, was killed in the Civil War.
He never returned home;
#3> Susanna C. Koon, who married Wiliam R. Wileman
#4> David Luther Koon, who married Margaret Ellen Blassingame, Annie Grace Green and Tishie E. Smith Koon Jackson;
#5> George Adam Koon IV, was a Soldier in The Civil War and was captured December 18, 1864, at Franklin, Tennessee and remained a Prisoner of War until his death on February 06, 1865 when he died from a gunshot wound;
He is buried at the National Cemetery, Nashville, Tenn, Grave #11910;
#6> Obediah Noel Koon, who is buried at Union County, Miss.
