She was born on March 17, 1919, in Wabash County, to David L. and Henrietta (Gurtner) Dawes. She married James L. "Bud" Camp on Feb. 20, 1938, in Wabash. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, James Camp, Terre Haute, and John Camp, Minnetonka, Minn.; one daughter, Kay Atkinson, Terre Haute; a brother, Edwin Albert Dawes, Bloomington; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. three sisters, Helen Fox, Marjorie Koontz and Dorothy Mattern; one son, Joseph Camp; and one daughter, Carole Clarke, are deceased.
The body was cremated and private family services will be conducted in Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
The DeBaun Funeral Home, Terre Haute, is in charge of arrangements.
