Warren O. Riley, 69, of Frederick Rd., R.D. 3, a 32-year employee of the former McCaskey Register Co., died at the Jane Francis Nursing Home at 7:30 a.m. Saturday. He suffer a stroke about a month ago.

Born at Uhrichville on Aug. 13, 1888, Mr. Riley lived in this vicinity for 40 years. He was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethern Church, the Maccabees and the Junior Order United American Mechanics.

He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Charles Eberling of Marlboro, Mrs. Elmer Freed of this city, Mrs Edward Schwebach of California, and Mrs. Glen Nease of Lake Hellen, Fla.; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Clarence and Ora Riley of Scio, Earl of Zanesville, and Thomas of Winona, three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Huntzman and Miss Lela Riley of Scio, and Mrs. Lydia Barber of Deersville.

His wife, Lula , died in 1933.

Funeral services will be held at the Myers Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Wednesday in charge of the Rev. W.E. Price, Pastor of the First EUB Church.

Burial will be made in Unity Cemetery, New Athens. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
