Served in France during WWI with US Army - 15th Company, 20th Engineers. Graduated 1920 from the Univ. of Minnesota School of Forestry. Employed by the Itasca (Blandin) Paper Company, Grand Rapids, MN 1921-33 as a chemist, superintendent of technical control, and assistant mill manager. CCC technician and Camp Superintendent on the Chippewa MN, R-9 level Forest Ranger at Huron National Forest, Mio, MI and Dora Lake, MN 1933-1959. Retired to Florida.
